I'm Talal Munzar,
and I've been engineering human-centered & joyful digital
experiences for over a decade.
I'm originally from Islamabad ...
... and now I'm in the DC Area.
I have been carefully crafting digital experiences in one form or another for over a decade. I have background in full-stack web development, with a specialization in front-end engineering.
Having worked closely with designers over the years, I have a keen eye for good visual design and a sense for seemless user experiences. With formal training in UX methodology, I also have the ability for user research, sketching, wireframeing, and prototyping.
One of my biggest side-interests is teaching programming, and making the field of computer science more accessible to everyone. I was a graduate teaching assistant for several programming courses at the University of Maryland. I also co-authored a research paper on teaching computer programming using block-based methods.
I am fascinated by social media’s impact on society, especially misinformation and how it affects the world. I worked on a graduate school project where I performed an analysis of fake news networks.
